Privacy policy

At Narrativ, your privacy matters. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is protected.

Information we collect

Narrativ does not collect personal information. All your project data — characters, scenes, plotlines, locations, world events, notes, photos, covers, exports, backups, and settings — is stored locally on your device. We have no access to any of it.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, your project files are stored in your personal iCloud account. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is not accessible to us.

Photos, imports, and exports

Photo library access is used only when you choose a photo for a character, location, story cover, or universe cover. Imported and exported files remain under your control at all times. When you send feedback, Narrativ opens your chosen mail app and sends only the message you write.

Purchases

Narrativ is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to any payment or billing information.

Analytics and tracking

Narrativ does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track how you use the app in any way.

How we share your information

We do not share any data with third parties. There is no data to share — everything stays on your device.

Children

Narrativ is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
